I grew up in North Dakota and attended NDSU Fargo, moving to Minneapolis in the fall of ’97. Through out my childhood I was encouraged by my family, mainly my grandmother to pursue my artistic talents. After attending college for 4 years and realizing I was having my artistic abilities restricted by my professors, I decided to quit school and pursue my dream of being a full time working artist while having other jobs I disliked to support my artistic passion.
My creative abilities lead me in an unknown direction when I approach a new piece of work. My mediums and surfaces I have worked with have been quite varied allowing me to grow creatively.
I have shown my work in numerous venues around Minneapolis including Spot Art Gallery, Soap Factory Gallery, Cliché, Weisman Art Museum – Musee Silent Auction, Very Barrie Gallery, Jitters, Café Oliver and Dunn Brothers Coffee. Recently, I was a juror of the 2008 Twin Cities Pride Art Show. Permanent Collection’s include Pacific University in Portland and many clients around the world. In 2007 I was featured in print by Phosphorence Magazine in Boston.
